Title: factory bows
Post by: yekrut on January 06, 2010, 09:22:00 PM
when they say 45lbs at 28" are they usually right. Because I have one that is 50lbs at 26" but says 50 at 28". so are they useally right on or sometimes mismarked by a few pounds? I did read in a book somewhere that they do get mismarked form time to time?

I am putting it on a scale. and checking it that way. I put a new string on last summer and left it strung for a few dyas to get its brace back to where I needed it. like at 7 1/2 r something not quite 8"

A.M.O. standard is (was?) +/- 3# @ 28" sooo... maybe some manufacturers fudge a little?  :scared:
