Title: Trad gear makes it taste better!!
Post by: scbowhnter on January 05, 2010, 07:42:00 PM
Sitting in my chair after finishing a meal and just had to write this. Deer filets, seasoned then bacon wrapped, seared and finished in the oven. And those filets came off the only deer I had a chance at with my recurve this year. Thank goodness I didn't blow my only chance!! A very slow season in terms of deer seen but it seems to make the venison taste that much better!!

Yes, even though so far I have tag soup it does seem to go down a little easier.
