Killed it with the bow in the back yard trying to cut down one of my oak trees. I don't want to waste it, and thought it might make a great cover for a home made quiver? Could a local taxidermist soft tan it for me? I really don't have the time to do it myself. What would be a fair price to get it done? Thanks in advance.
hey guy im a taxidermist yes you would want to take it to a taxidermist if you want a soft tan the tanneries are going to charge him about 50 bucks hes going to add his time in it im going to say some where around 100.00 bucks with the shipping charges. beaver also look great on willow hoop to hang on wall.

I tan beaver all the time no taxidermist needed. I gotta say it costs me a lot more than $100 and I don't think I can hang it on the wall, willow hoop or no willow hoop. ;)
thats funny
yup, it's all fun and games until someones beaver gets tanned.

You could just degrease the skin and let the rawhide dry in the shape of a quiver like Ishi did with his otter quiver.

Coffee, though I love it too much, is no fun coming out of your nose.
Not to mention, that's the second keyboard this week I'll need to replace. You guys are killing me.
