Title: Which quiver???
Post by: bornagainbowhunter on January 05, 2010, 11:07:00 AM
OK guys I need some help.  I can't seem to find a strap on quiver like I want.  I shoot a one piece Robertson longbow.  I want a strap on quiver that can be removed easily for transportation and stringing ang unstringing the bow.

Problem is I got alot of shoot in me.  If squirrel comes along, I wanna shoot.   :archer:      :D     Same with yotes, dillars, fox, coon, possums, most of all deer.  Well, you get the idea.

Most quivers i have seen only have four or five arrow slots.  I have a bear back quiver, but when I carry my stand and steps to the woods I have to carry the quiver in my hands. not good...

Well Guys any help would be great.
Thanks and God bless yall.

How about this one:

never used one, so can't vouch for that, but it holds 8 arrows...

I made an Asbell type quiver out of an older PSE compound quiver. Holds 8 arrows. Easily carried. If I want to up the ante, I can carry this quiver over my shoulder, and still use my 4 arrow bow quiver. Might come in handy when rabbit or squirrel hunting, or simply stump shooting. I just don't want all that weight on my longbow when shooting. Good luck in your quest and have fun.
