lol, i have now! how'd it happen?
was it laminated or solid piece of wood?
That's what happens when you get kinky with those things in bed.
Killdeer
No, but you need to make that bed. Or get a good woman to do it for you like I did. ;)
Nope!
No. Did that happen on release or impact? Eric.
Hope you didn't get the shaft while all that was going on.lol
Killdeer is right, all the feathers are wore off that thing? :smileystooges:
Awww, just wrap a little duct tape on. It'll be fine!
Haha...And the one thing you'll never hear a redneck say is...duct tape won't fix that.
I was out rabbit hunting and just wondered how it would stand up to a concrete block. It was a 5/16 ramin shaft with a snuffer... it didnt hurt the snuffer much at all.

Killdeer :saywhat:
never seen that
The Snuffer is tough but also the shaft is not that bad.
I had that happen to arrows a couple of times, all of them were cedar. I even fixed one and the arrows shot/worked fine. However, instead of duct tape, as recommended previously, I used tite bond II and wrapped it in three places with sinew. I have fixed several other arrows with smaller cracks that shot/worked fine after being glued and wrapped with sinew, even used them to kill deer.
"Never went to bed with an ugly woman but I sure woke up with a few."
I'd hang that arrow on the wall someplace, anyplace. Getting the cinder block up there would be too much work.
... mike ...

Maybe not quite in the same manner but same result.
For the risk, I don't think I would bother with fixing a ramin shaft. Like Mike said, stick it on the wall as a conversation piece.
Thats why I put Viagra in my quiver. :bigsmyl:
Dang...never have seen that before.
killee you have a twisted mind.
NOPE!!!
Scary. Hope it didn't happen on release!
Yep, direct and square hit on rock or concrete, the energy has to go somewhere.
Yes, I have seen that...several times, but never on a bed.
Nope, thats a new one for me.
Haven't seen a mid shaft split like that, but I have a collection of the Robin Hood type, split from the nock end by a second arrow. Got two aluminum arrows that are telescoped together with a 3 inch sleeve joint, making a single 56 inch arrow, in case anyone has a real long draw length.
