I am looking into some new/good broadheads and was wanting some input on the vpa terminator, woodsman elite and the xtreme 300? I can only find one website with the xtremem 300 on them but no info. I am shooting a rudder short hog 55-60# 29" and a MFX Classic .340. There are a lot of choices out there and just wanting your input. Thanks!!
What is the weight range of broadhead are you looking for, and what overall arrow weight are you looking to get?
I am looking at about 200+ for point weight and 650+ for total arrow weight
Really do not think you can go wrong with any of those three, they are all proven killers?? really boils down to a personal preference, and tuning them to your arrow bow setup. Sharp and in the right spot as everyone says. The woodsmans without vents/terminators come on like 200 to 250?? I think, the Xreme jobber I think is only a 300 grainer, but don't quote me on that.

I have experience with all of these heads. The vented Wensel Elites I own are too small/narrow for my liking. The 300 XTREEMS are as solid as any head I've ever seen, but some guys find them too expensive. A great head nontheless. In my opinion the best all-around choice of the three are the unvented Terminators. Well made, arrow dynamic, great penetrators, and easy to sharpen and keep that way. Priced well too. I am currently using the 250 grain screw-in models, but VPA offers a wide variety of other weights and widths. Good luck!
Thanks for the info I also like the vpa and will probably go with them. I love silverflames, but don't like the price:( I have also looked into the centaur broadheads. What do you guys think of the centaur?
Im not sure the extreme 300 is still available new.I am not 100% sure though.I have used the 250 grain terminator to put 6 deer in the freezer this fall.I have been very pleased with them. The terminator is available up to 300 grains.
