I am planning my first pronghorn hunt this year with a friend in Co really don't know what to expect.any Info

Expect spooky animals that can see like no others and can run like the wind. If you are going to spot and stalk, expect lots of frustration and blown stalks.
They like fences,set up near a crossing.Antelope are curious animals,decoys are great.but sometimes they run from them.Find water & youll find the animals,blinds work good near water..& remember there left hoofed,they will 99% turn to there left when running away..& have fun..good shooting!!
When do you plan to go? If its early (mid Aug to Early Sept) best chances are ground blinds by water. If your going early to mid sept and the rut is on, try a decoy. Lots of fun. Shoot me a PM and let me know what type of hunting and I'll give you any pointers I may have. Regardless, you'll have a great time.

I have taken all these and then some with bows and there is nothing I would rather do in August or early September that antelope hunt.
Mike you are a pro when it comes to speed goats.

I agree with Goke. Out here the season begins mid- August and generally it is pretty hot and dry. Set up around water pit blind or better yet in a windmill. Good luck.
Zach, those came from CO. NM. and WY. I now only hunt Wyoming though. Randy I'm trying to catch up with you on the elk though and have a ways to go!

One thing I've never gotten, is how shows On the outdoor channel and such portray Antelope hunting to be so difficult. Now, I've never been hunting for speed goats, but when I hunt Mulies, Antelope are usually 30 or 40 yards off the road. You can get out and look at em with your bino's if you want. They aren't spooky either, they just stand there and stare at ya.
Those are the ones that are there to show off for the tourist driving down the road. The ones further off the roads are tough to hunt with a bow.
get out of your vehicle for a minute and see what they do. I have hunted them in places in wyoming where they just stood by the road if you get out of your truck they are gone.
Here on FE Warren Air Force base you can walk up to the past them even bull dog them. Not in the real world though.
An antelope will tolerate a vehicle passing by, maybe even pulling into the gate for few seconds. As soon as they figure out a human has put feet on the ground they have an uncanny knack for putting at least 500 yards between you and them and keeping that distance. They are a lot of fun to hunt but I have the most respect for anyone that can spot and stalk these buggers and put an arrow through one.
As Centaur said expect a lot of blown stalks. I have taken two spot and stalk. I have blown hundreds and hundreds of attempts. The last one I was able took I swam down a large irrigation ditch for over a mile to get within range.
Moral use the terrain the best you can.
Any critter with eyes like 8X binoculars and can run like a cheetah deserves my respect. They are a challenge for a stickbow, but the ideas presented about hunting near water holes in hot, dry weather are good.
They tend to cross fences at the same spot (hardly ever jumping them), so find a trail near one and make a blind at least 2 weeks before season opens.
Hunting the rut around mid to late September can be productive if you are patient.
