Thay don't have the trad shoot there any more. There is a good 3-D shoot at Potts town every weekend starting in April, lots of trad shooters there.

I live just outside of Bloomington. I can give you the scoop if you need. Potts town is a good fun shoot to hit on the weekends. I think Pekin has a trad shoot once a year (I think). My club(Lexington Sportsman Club) has a shoot the 3rd weekend of every month startin in March.

There is also a club in Streator that has alot of trad shooters at there 3d events.

Let me know when you get here and I will help you out.

BTW, I can give u the low down on public ground too. So you at least have a place to go check out and hunt.

That is alot of fun! I have been a couple times myself, and one of the best spots is literally right downtown!

J D, If you fly to Graham hospital here in Canton, I live one street south of your landing pad. When you come in to land, you will circle over my house. Its easy to spot. I'm the only one on the street with a target range set up in the back yard. Just look for the life size bear in the back of the house....lol.......Roy

Not sure eveywhere we will land, but if someone flys low over your place and flashes a landing light it will be me.

J.D.,

I live about 12 miles West of Peoria... two miles West of the little burg of Hanna City.  After you get set, feel free to PM me here, or look me up in the phone book.

I'd be glad to buy you a cup of coffee and compare archery notes with you!

Welcome to the "neighborhood."

Daryl

You'll find quite a few stickbow shooters in the Peoria area.  Some of them are even pretty good guys.  Be sure to get in touch when you get in town.  I'm about an hour south of you.

J.D.,

Let me know if you need someone to show you around in a 4WD!  Supposed to be more snow coming, but not much, I think.  Kind of chilly(?!?!), but I doubt that's much different than what you're in today.

If one the the Hanna City homes ends up looking interesting, I'd be happy to show you around the area.  There's not a lot to see in the town these days.  It's become more of a bedroom community for people heading to Peoria to work.

Best wishes in your search for a new home.  Sounds like a daunting project to me, but I live on a family farm, and have only moved 200 yards in my life since college...

Yep, Roy, those burgers and the fried chicken next door may are probably the closest thing we have to offer to "haute cuisine"!!

Call if you need help!

Daryl

Blueline,

No, I wish I could thought. I don't think last week will be any indication of next week. I think it will be a good close game. I will hopefully get to wacth it. this move is messing up things.

Good luck.
