For those who own or have shot both, please give me your thoughts, impressions, comparisons, etc. Obviously, both are great bows but just wondering if/why some prefer one vs. other. I've owned and shot the ILF and really like it. Never shot a shawnee but I am becoming currious. Thanks in advance for your comments.
I've only had the Shawnee but have shot the ILF and love it, it'll be my next Morrison. Seems like the ILF has a little more forward riser design, thus making it a little more forgiving. Changing limbs or taking the bow down is much faster plus having tiller adjustment at your fingertips is a big plus also. Shawnees are great shooters but I can't wait to get my hands on a Morrison ILF.
I've owned both, and I liked the Shawnee better. the ilf I had was a mini riser with "c" limbs.
the Shawnee was a "b" riser with "d" limbs, I tried an "a" riser with those limbs and though it seemed quicker, the B riser with those limbs was VERY tame and shot great.
I have Shawnee Dakota (RD longbow limbs) and an ILF with WW recurve limbs. I like them both but the ILF is smoother and shoots/feels better (for me).
Have spent a lot of $$ and traded numerous "Custom Bows" looking for "The Bow" :knothead: :wavey:
Thanks guys. Anyone experience a significant noise difference between the two? When both are properly tuned of course.

You are asking about a Morrison aren't you? Noise and Morrison don't go together. My Shawnee don't even need silencers it's so quiet. I have the Shawnee and have shot the ILF. I prefer the Shawnee a touch better. Not better performance(to this amateur at least), but just like it better. I would say this, whatever you decide, get the foam cores. They are worth the few extra dollars.

I have a ILF recurve and cant wait till i can afford a ILF longbow.
I own a mini 14 ILF with D recurve foam/carbon limbs and have owned several Cheyennes and Shawnees and the ILF is the one that I shoot the best.

My experience is basically the same as Danny's.
