Title: Bull-Pac daypack?s
Post by: Mike Bolin on January 02, 2010, 09:25:00 PM
Does anyone have any expereince with the daypacks available from Bull-pac? I have the Bull-Pac frame and it is as good or better than any I have owned/tried. On their website they list a daypack that attaches to their frames and has it's own shoulder straps to allow you to use the pack seperately from the frame. It is made from saddlecloth and looks to be of fine quality. I am sure it is top notch, but I am hoping that one of you tradgangers have first hand experience with it. Thanks, Mike

Like to help but I've never even heard of a Bull-Pac.

For what it's worth, I've used a couple of top of the line Crooked Horn Outfitter packs for years, but bless her heart, my wife gave me an Eberlestock X1 for Christmas.  That setup is going to be the bomb...

Mike,

Check with Gary Logsdon, he is a big proponent of the BullPac.

I use mine for all kinds of things, even packing out quartered KY whitetails.  After last year's ice storm the ground is so thick with debris that dragging is a real pain in the butt, so hauling them out on your back is sometimes necessary.  A lot of guys think that pack frames are just for western hunting, HA!
