So I recently bought a Mohawk from the classifieds and I shot it some and decided I didnt like the grip. I put it up for sale today(briefly)and Vince contacted me to inform me that the bow I had did not have the normal grip he usually builds and that he would change it for the new owner. I got to thinking that I loved every other part of the bow, I just could not get used to the grip, so I am going to send it to him and keep the bow.
I just could not beleive how nice Vince is to offer that to me. I am not even the original owner. It is the small things that make me a loyal customer and I can assure you that I will be buying another Mohawk soon. Thanks Vince!!!
Vince is top notch to do business with!! I sell him some lams from time to time,he is a good man!!
That is realy nice of him to do that for you. Nothing but good things about Vince and his bows. I will be ordering one within the next 2 months. :clapper:
Lonnie, I saw that you had the bow in the classifieds and was gonna offer to buy it back from you. It was just a tad long for my type of hunting. I actually liked the grip on it but it seemed a little big when I wore gloves. Was the grip too big for you? What are you having changed about it? I plan on putting an order in with Vince for an all boo 60" after my move.

Yeah, Vince is just a great guy!
I've talked with him on the phone a couple of times, and will be buying a bow from him sometime, guaranteed!
That's the kind of attitude that keeps a bowyer at the top of the list when someone's looking to buy a bow. Do business by the Golden Rule and you'll stay busy.
Vince Vince Who!!?? Just Kiddin' :notworthy: He loves building bows [great ones at that] and loves to make folks/customers happy. :clapper: He even lets me call him "The Italian Stallion"! :goldtooth:
The Man & his Bows are "Top Notch" !!
I have a Mohawk on order and can't wait to get it and start shooting. I haven't talked on the phone with Vince, just emails, but he seems like a great guy to do business with. His promptness on responding to emails is what finally made me decide what bowyer I wanted to build my bow. Now I have to get my mind of of it again before I go crazy waiting on it!
Vince makes a quality bow.
Vince and I will be talking about my new bow soon.
Kenneth,
The grip was too big, I have to wear gloves sometimes and like a grip that is a little smaller. I will pm you. Thanks, Lonnie
Vince did the same thing for me. Bought a used one here and sent it to him and he adjusted the grip and refinished for a very nominal fee. Great guy to deal with and a top quality bow for sure.

Nice to hear someone cares more about customer satisfaction than the almighty dollar. You may not have been a direct customer, how ever if you ever buy a new bow, a Mohawk should be on top of your list.
I couldnt agree more grayseas. A new mohawk is on the top of my list..
Vince is a true gentelman for sure, love those Mohawks.
vince is top notch in everything he does.made mine exactly the way i wanted it.then i sold it. :help: i'll be buyin another one from him.
One might say Vince "eVinces" exemplary customer service! By keeping prices low and service high he will have no shortage of work.
I have him building an experimental bow. Something he never did before WOOOFAAA. Can't wait to try it. If you have any questions call the man! He is a true gentleman and loves to talk bows.
