This is my first time back on Trad Gang in a long time. I have a question for you guys.
Thinking of trying a longbow again after many years of recurves. I have tried in the past to shoot longbows (even made 30 or so D-shape), and have not been successful. I had been thinking about a MOAB (reflex/deflex), but have never seen or shot one. I saw the post on PowWow today and decided to ask for input.

I have one it is definately one of my favorites. Light fast and smooth she is a keeper for sure. Will will really enjoy it.

I had one and loved it.  Shot it better than a lot of bows I have had.  I sold it to try more stuff.  It was my first LB and a little too heavy for me at the time.  I will have another.  It is the best of the TS bows IMO.

I thought the MOAB was a recurve when I first looked at a picture-even the first time I shot one too!    :D   A truly nice bow! Enjoy!       You'll be able to shoot this one just fine. It is as much a recurve as it is a longbow. It's a hybrid and there's nothing wrong with that-it'll be superior in many ways to a longbow or a recurve!

Thanks for the input. I did a search and found  several posts on MOAB's, so sorry to have brought up a subject that has been "hashed" before. I am trying to talk myself out of the longbow again--it has never worked for me.

Not at all JMG, many of love too much giving our opinion!  :)
