well this is my 2nd homemade quiver. i'm not as happy with this one in some ways, but over all it turned out ok. it would have been much easier if i had used some thicker leather instead of my deer hides. i also used some thin plastic to give it some form and a little more strength so it wouldn't fold up. i also used a pair of rubber flip-flops that i got for 2 bucks and cut them up for the bottom and the holder inside, the craft store didn't have any harder leather so the flip-flops worked out alright. the top is removable as show in the pics. hope you all like it.... Jay

Looks great to me. Must be your first one turned out really nice.
WOW that looks great!
It looks good to me.a lot better than I could do one.
You need to patent that buckskin color. How hard to remove the arrows from the side of this quiver or do you need to remove the top first? I like the first quiver better because it is closer to my preference for large heavy leather backquiver. Nice job here Jay.
Looks awesome, great job!
Super!! I like the color of the leather a lot. With the top arrow holder, is it hard to remove arrows through the side opening?
The first one had some great art work but, this one is more my style. Both are great looking quivers! Excellent Work on both!
I'd say you did yourself proud!
you do not need to remove the top to get the arrows out, unless you have some really long arrows. also the top center moves, so if the nock touches the top inside, while lifting the arrow to clear the bottom, with a small amount of pushing up it will give some. i made it pretty long over all so alot of different length arrows could be removed from the side port while the top was on and closed
Very nice! I love using these types of quivers when hunting. I don't like anything on my bow when i am out. Nice, Nice work;
Treavor
Great job. Heck of alot better than I could do.
That's exactly what I was talking about. I like it!
God bless,Mudd
Great looking work. I really admire the leathercrafters.

i don't think i qualify as a "leathercrafter", just a hunter fooling around with my deer hides and a few tools
Man , you do fantastic work I love the design. Great job. Drew
Very Nice! That color is cool and the design looks good. Well Done!
That is a really good looking quiver
If you really don't like it you can send it to me. I think that it looks great.
Chester
I think you did a GREAT job!!! I'm serious, that is an awesome quiver. You are a craftsman.
really nice work ,you did a great job.
thanks everyone, glad you all liked it
I think they both look great! I am a little partial towards your first one. You have mad skillz.

i am too, this one is easier to get the arrows out, but i haven't gotten used to reaching over my shoulder to get an arrow, so that may be why. but it turned out pretty good. my biggest reason in making quivers is because i don't want to have a quiver on the bow. plus i have nothing to do and it gives me a sense of accomplishment :)
Pretty nice leather work buddy--keep it up !! :)
That is really beautiful. You are talented.
Awesome work!
looks good. do you dye the leather before or after stitching it up?

after. i thought about it alot and decided to do it after. when i finished the first quiver i said i'd do it before next time. but i didn't :)
if i had an endless supply of hides i'd dye them before and use what ever color i wanted for that project, but that's not happening
Looks really good!!!! I bet it took a lot of work and time.

yea this one was a pain, some of it was because i never made one like this before. but i had to use 3 deer hides and the plastic in between, which made it really hard to punch the holes.
and yes it took alot longer than the first one i made
