For all those seasoned trad bow hunters out there i was wondering what you would want when you have plenty of bows arrows quivers and other tools. So if you have any ideas help tell me .
happy holidays
Easy more time to be in the woods!
haha ya i mean something that could be cheaply made or bought as a gift
A big buck to use them on!
well this guys got that too. he shot a monster 8 point last year after he stalked it to 8 yards then drilled it. I believe it scored 150's
I think I'm lost. But that's not unusual. Could you clarify the question for me. Because if I read it they way I did, I already have everything I could want or need. Except maybe the skill to shoot like Howard Hill and my guess is that at least for me, that's not gonna happen.
God bless,Mudd
I second Mudd,he was the best shot ever.Otherwise I would like a Bear Custom TD Type 1 - LH B riser,it is long time that I am looking for it.Felix
A good old book would be nice. Maybe "Sagittarius", by Bob Swinehart.
I always enjoy an old traditional hunting movie.
Sounds like you're trollin for ideas for the buddy with 'everything' imaginable. :)
This year I got tired of hauling pack around and everything is at the bottom so I'm in a stand rooting around like a racoon in a garbage can.
I finally got a Primos Archery Vest. Lotsa pockets strategically placed. Only got to wear it 3-4 times, but I'm thinkin it is going to be my new best friend...fwiw.
If that is the direction you're headed?
You could make this person a cool bone point or stone point good luck necklace. I wear one of each and I feel as though they bring me good luck in my endeavors.
A stringkeeper or a tip protector for a bow doesn't take much material or skill to make, and is handy as the dickens. A leather bag for a spare string would be pretty easy, too.
"Grabber" handwarmers are a good item for a hunter, and I like the idea of an arrowpoint necklace. A friend gave me one a couple of years ago and I wear it at all times.
Killdeer
I wish I was twenty, but with the knowledge I have now. I would change many things so I would have MORE FREE TIME in the future. Work SMARTER...laugh more...see my friends more - spend more time with my folks etc.
It's funny. TIME couldn't be very important because not many of us TAKE TIME to enjoy it.
Yet TIME is the only thing we can't get back and we flitter it away like we have endless amounts of it.
How many weekends do you have left in your life yet we work on them.
When you are on your death bed nobody will say...Hey dad..mom...brother...sister..friend glad you worked those extra weekends.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...yup I would like another 50 years, but be 30 years younger again.

Buy him a PBS (Professional Bowhunter Society) membership.
