Title: 7th Age Hunters-New Years Hunters
Post by: Littlefeather on December 27, 2009, 01:20:00 PM
Scheduled Hunters,
As I'm sure most are aware, I was involved in a tractor accident which resulted in broken vertebra's and a dislocated and torn shoulder. This couldn't have happened at a worse time due to the approach of the new years hunting season. I've made vast improvments due to multiple well wishers in the Trad medical community and a few others. Unfortunately I followed the accident by contracting the Shingles Virus and now the stomach virus. I seem to have saved all this injury for a 4 week window.  "[dntthnk]"

I am scheduled to leave for the ranch in West Texas tomorrow. We'll be moving forward as scheduled but there will be some obvious limitations that aren't normally present in the hunts I offer.

All hunts and hunt prices reflect do-it-yourself hunts but rarely do I not take the time to find you animals to hunt or prescout you areas that will be very productive. I am going to be very limited on my ranch travel and also will not be able to go out and personally guide anyone. If you know that your skill level or experience level requires some guidance I will be more than happy to reschedule your hunt to a time when I can provide more personal time together. The one thing I want everyone to go home with after a hunt at 7th Age Bowhunting is great memories that will last a lifetime. Unfortunately, with the loss of my Dad(right hand man) earlier this year and the physical injuries I've recently incurred you will need to be even more self sufficient than you normally would. I do hope to see each and everyone currently scheduled but will understand completely if you choose to reschedule your hunt.

I'll be available by email till tomorrow and then will be away till January 10th. I have no cell service on the ranch but will check my cell messages daily by running into town. 361-648-6059 I am dealing with lots and lots of calls right now. Please write down your questions so you have them handy. Thanks so much for your undestanding. I hope everyone has a great New Year! Curtis Kellar

Gosh Curtis, would you just quit it with the bad news already...LOL

Seriously, I do hope you recover soon, and no doubt all will understand your situation, you are a stand up guy to offer a re-schedule.

All the best, and as Mike said, take it easy, and don't overdo it!

Jake

Hear me?? LOL! Thanks Mike!

No boubt I've saved up the bad stuff for one time. Just think, when I'm over it I should have a long run till I get sick again. I don't normally get sick much.  :help:      :D

Into each life a bit of rain must fall... I know South Texas can use some rain, so maybe you're doing your leases some good, eh, amigo?

Your karma will be with your hunters and I'm sure others will step in to anti-up for the cause.

Trauma of the nature you've had can unleash a battery of malise that normally would be kept at bay.

Rider er out and git er done, Hoss! Don't let it get you down.

Best wishes on a speedy and healthy recovery. I will definitely look to 7th Age in the future for a hunt with such a class act guy at the helm. Just take care of yourself, your hunters will completely understand.

Thanks for the offer Curtis, but I'm afraid you are still going to have to put up with Craig and I for a few days    We hope you are feeling better very soon and look forward to seeing you in a few days.  Hang in there and don't overdo it until you are fully recovered.  :readit:
