I got this PMAII some time back. It was in ok shape. Meaning the limbs had some scratches due to hunting. The limb tips looked a little worse for wear but the bow was overall a good bow. It also had a gloss finish which I wasn't to fond of. I then put it up for sale and had it sold 'til I damaged one of the limbs in preperation for shipment. I knocked the limb off my table and put a good chip in the finish. Then the finish around the damaged area looked pretty weak to me. I didn't feel comfortable selling it that way and the buyer was very understandable in my decision to withdraw the sale. I didn't want to mark it down any lower as I was already selling it at a pretty good price.
Long story short, my beautiful wife, let me send it in to Roger and the boys to get a face lift for my Christmas present. I had them add the bamboo overlays, and mark the bow to my draw length. "Hard Luck" has now got a permanent home! The top scripture is inscribed on my wedding band from my wife. The bow arrived home on Christmas Eve day. Enjoy the pics!

Wow! Like a new bow! I can't wait to send my PSAII off to them this summer now!
That's a keeper for sure. And i like your honesty.
Gonna drop mine off over there in a week or so and get some snakeskins on it! :)
Ahhh, another story of marital bliss. Congrats on a fine bow and a fine wife.
Beauty !! :)
Them Widow boys do some nice work!!!
Very nice!
Very Nice!!! Had mine refinished earlier this year.

Thanks for all the comment folks. I played around with "Hard Luck" somewhat today. Got Spider Silencers on the string, brace height set to 9" and took her out for a shoot. Surewood shaft spined 65#-70#, 29.5" BOP, tipped with 145gr field tip and flying like a missle! :scared:
With all that's happened, I think we're going to have a beautiful and long relationship!
A Beauty.
I have a few month old PSAII that has a few dings from many miles of "hikes with my bow", but also notched my first trad kill earlier this month in the mountains of California.
I have no doubt that I will be sending it in to the Widow Works to get them to bring it back to beauty. It is almost too pretty to hunt it as hard as we do, but it is also far too good of a weapon to keep on a shelf.
Great lookin widow.
Nice Widow you have there!
Sweet

Better than ever,you did good
Thanks again everyone! I am very blessed to have such an understanding wife. She has tolerated much with my traditional bow addiction. I am now going to minimize my bow stock to just 2 widows, 1 HH and one Bear T/D. Hope all have had an enjoyable and fulfilled Christmas and may the new year bring peace and happiness to all!

Larry, I got the PLX to take care of the Elk situation. :D The PMA is for deer and the like just like you stated. I have been looking for a PSA riser so that I can piece together another BW recurve but at a little higher poundage. No luck so far,
Very nice looking refinish and additions to a great model bow. I have an older MA 60" 55# er and it's a solid performing bow. Your wife definately has the holiday spirit !! :clapper:
Pretty special bow if you ask me. Glad you will now be able to enjoy it now for a long time!
Great story thanks for sharing. And a great ending, the bow has once again found a great home!!! Good luck with it may it bring you wonderful memories.Jerry
