Looking for a few guys close to Petersburg IN who would be interested in a Trad only bunny hunt over some good dogs at my place.
I will make all accomodations just bring your bow and hunting license.
I will take two or three guys a day on two days some time between the 30th and the 2nd.
I'm off work for a few days and would like to get together with some tradgangers and bust some bunnies and meet some fine fellers for a good time.

Hey guys,I gotta tell someone about my great shot yesterday. Not bragging, just saying if you shoot a thousand arrows, your bound to get lucky every now and then. My beagle Roxy ran a rabbit out of the thick stuff and the rabbit ran straight away down the edge of a soybean field. I shot at the rabbit on the run, he was nearly 50 yards out when the arrow caught up to him. I thought that I missed and I told a buddy how close I came to the rabbit. A few minutes later, my lab brought the dead rabbit out of the brush with her tail wagging and a smile on her face. Thank goodness for beagles and a good lab. I was using a game nabber and it did not penetrate far on that rabbit. I can't tell you how many rabbits I have missed over the years in similar situations!
Sounds like you made a great shot Willob. Those are the shots that you wish you had caught on tape. Good luck to you on your next hunt.
