I bought a neck knife at Denton Hill from Fred. 4 Inch blade, it has become my main knife. Gutted three deer with it this year [two trad bow kills, one trad muzzleloader kill] and on the third i had spined the deer with a muzzleloader, cut its throat with the knife, very sharp, sharpened on a lansky, it is a razor, I am very impressed wit hthese knives, paid $20 for it and it is awesome!

I bought one at a trad expo in Spring of 08. It is a very nice knife, made out of carbon steel, and takes a VERY SHARP edge. It has since been claimed by my wife......well worth the money that he sells them for.

He doesn't make them, I can't remember WHO it is that makes them, but I am sure someone will chime in with that info.

Mr. and Mrs. Asbell are VERY NICE people. I'm gonna have to pick me up another one, to call my own.

Except for the touchmark, they are identical to knives made by River Traders of Oregon.

I recently bought the small western (2 3/4" blade) knife and the neck sheath and I am very impressed with them both. They are very well made, and the knife just feels good in my hand. As said before, the blade sharpens SCARY sharp!

I'm sure it will be a constant companion of mine for a very long time, and there is no beating the price or service!!

I bought mine at Comptons 2 years ago.  4" blade for $12.00  They are  made by a guy by the name of Palmer.  Been trying to get ahold of him to buy 50 of them to take to knap ins and sell.  They are a good knife for the money.

Don't have one of GFA's, but will very soon. I have several neckers....you get very dependent on them in short order. Anything from field dressing to cardboard boxes.

I have one.  It is a fine little knife, especially for the price.
