Title: Adjustable Recurves......Suggestions?
Post by: HumbleHunter on December 22, 2009, 10:29:00 PM
I am thinking about getting a adjustable recurve and am curious what you guys think about them. I've read on several different brands but have no experience.

Which ones do yall prefer? Keeping in mind cost. I don't want junk but I can't spend a ton of money either. I am interested in being able to adjust tiller and alignment mostly.

Thanks in advance, HH

I liked my DAS Dalaa I had,I could adjust weight slightly, tiller and centershot.Great shooting bow,but does cost alittle more then most but less then some others. You might look for a Warf bow fitted with ILF limb pads, they can be fairly economical.

Dillon,

It sound like you are looking at ILF bows.  They are a great way to piece together a "perfect bow" for yourself.  You first find a riser that you like the feel of and then match limbs too it.

We will be offering ILF longbow limbs starting next month and hope to have a 15" wood ILF riser available by March.

A brand that will not break the bank is TradTech.  You can find them at Lancaster Archery Supply.

3 rivers carrys the DAS Dalaa bows also.

HH,

I've owned and shot a few different ILF risers. The TradTech Titan is the one I've kept. With wood/glass limbs, you can be out the door for about $500. That's less than a lot of other companies charge for just a riser.

I recently picked up two Das risers and I really like them.  Very adjustable and with a good set of limbs they really perform well.
