Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but here goes..... Any of you with Quinn stallions, have you ever chrono'd them? If so, what kind of numbers did you get. Please include draw weight , arrow weight , and draw length.Any input is very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Ike

My Quarf which is a Hoyt Rambo riser with Quinn Stallion limbs is 52#@28" and draw to 28",shot with fingers here is what I got
417 grain 180 fps 8.01 gpp
554 grain 164 fps 10.65 gpp
625 grain 155 fps 12.01 gpp
Great shooting bows and you can't beat the price!
Ike,
I never chrono'd my 43# Stallion, but many people that I have shot with say that it looks very fast for a 43# bow. For what it's worth, I use 1916s cut to 29", with 125 grain tips. And I draw 28 inches.
I have chonographed both the Stallion and the Comet XL at 28" draw (shooting fingers, setup for hunting). Approximations, can't remember exactly.
8 gpp - 180-185 fps
9 gpp - 170-175 fps
10 gpp - 160-165 fps
Thanks for the numbers Lefty and Dave.I'm due to bet paid for a job soon and when I do I'm going to order a black riser stallion with classic limbs. I'll probably keep it my comfort range of about 45 to 48lbs.
Ike
That should have read " get" paid for a job ...
