Title: Autumn orange
Post by: Spectre on December 22, 2009, 12:17:00 AM
Wow! Whatever happened to these wonderful shafts? I have shot them for years, and love them(I don't know why the strange attraction). I wish they would start making them again.....I'm just old school, I guess.

Yup. They haven't lost a bit of their attraction with me since they first came on the scene...I still grab what I can find. Someone has to be old school...it reminds others what a large part of their lives reminding is going to become. Rick.

Great shafts!  Seems like when you find something you really like, they quit making it or change it.

Anybody else ever feel that way?

Easton will make them again, you just have to buy enough of them.  Nobody is willing to do that and they would be more expensive than black gamegetter too.

I have 8 1918's left from over the years, outstanding shafts. I use them from my PSA Widow 49@28 and they really work well. Not only do I miss the autumn orange but the 1918 size as well.

I just bought a dozen of these at my local shop to make up (my first arrow building experience).  Good to know that they are good stuff.   :)

Now that I know they are rare, I think I'll go back and buy the rest of them.

They were a great shaft.  I still have a few left and like others wish Easton would start production again.

After having some Straw colored Micro-Flight as a young Kid, my next arrows were Easton Autumn Orange, I remember being at an Archery store with a friend he chose the Camo Pattern and I unhesitatingly got the Orange! Loved them all along, Now have about 3-4 dozen 1916-1918.  And am careful not to loose many 3-d shooting

I still have a few Supernaturals, Serpentines, and Treebark Camos. For hunting, my favorite is an older dark brown camo GGII. I like the Autumn Orange for 3Ds, cause once in a great while someone causes me to miss.
