Thanks for letting me share.
I like those Hills
Good thing you had room on you rack, nice bows
Very nice, Will! A good trade, for sure, and a nice bow rack, too. Happy shooting and hunting!
Cool! Never shot a Hill style. I was going to say you still have one spot left, but you mentioned it lol.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. Now I have to wait for my keyboard to dry out...drool is everywhere.
God bless, Mudd
c'mon Mudd drool over your own Spankin new Hill.
Nice bows, I have to ask. what did you trade for THREE SWEET BOWS?
Very nice.
Looks like it was a very good day. Great bows.
Hey Will, great to be able to see the bows. That Strunk looks to have have Mojo all over it. :archer:
Who is the musician?
Nice.
Cool! I really like the second Wesley with the locator grip.
Congrats!
Those are some fine looking bows
I had a couple articles that John Strunk wrote for Archery Digest, many moons ago. That "Thumper" bow rings a bell. Who was it made for?
I can see it come'n....a bigger rack!!!! Nice bows, way to heavy for me but nice.....
I traded them for an ACS that I also got in a trade deal. It was an awesome bow but I've been wanting to try this style bow for a while. I had one a few years back that was 66" and made for a 26" draw. It seemed to stack real bad at my 30" draw. These don't seem to stack or pinch at all so far as I can tell. And they are crazy quiet !
George,
First off, my bad. I mislabeled the Strunk bow "Thunder", but you are correct, it is "Thumper". I edited my post.I don't see a name anywhere on the bow. All I can find is " The Spirit ", made by John Strunk, "Thumper", the weight, and 3*85*5 LB.
Cool trade!
With some history to boot!! Congrats and nice bows!!!
The bows are real nice but that pit dog is beautiful.
nice
Really sweet bows, wish i could find trades like that!!
Those fill out that rack quite nicely, good trade. Eric.
Mate .. pics at last eh !!! hoping that they shoot as good as they look. the Strunk looks beautiful . Hoe does it shoot ?
Ben
Thanks guys. I'm diggin 'em so far.
Hey Ben, the Strunk is sweet. It is super quiet and I haven't put any string silencers on it yet. It is pretty much dark when I leave and dark till I get home from work these days, but hopefully I can give them a real workout over the holiday weekend.
Izzy, Thanks for the compliment.

Hey nice pick up on those LB's. As for the Strunk Spirit they are nice. I've owned one since 1988. I've got a Strunk 69" Spirit 70@28 made out of cascara w/ I think is a walnut handle. Mine doesn't have Thumper scribed on it but it is indeed a thumper! I'm not home but I believe mine was made in 86 or 87. I'll try and post photos this weekend.
So what is the wood and poundage on yours?
Mike
Looks like you made out ok on the trade.
Sorry, I did have all the bow specs up with more pics but deleted some so it wasn't so pic heavy. The Strunk is 69" and 71# @ 28. Probly round 77# @ 30" for me. It is crazy quiet and super smooth !
