Hi everyone! Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I am new to trad shooting, my husband bought me my first trad bow last year and I have finally decided to make the switch from my compound to my trad bow. I have to say that I am a pretty spoiled wife, he bought me a Wes Wallace Royal take down which I love! I am enjoying the process of learning how to shoot it and have recently ordered my second bow since the first one is a little tough for me to pull to full draw. I look forward to reading your posts and chatting with you all in the future. Oh, my husband is also on Trad Gang, his name is Ragnorak Forge...

Killdear...I ordered another Wes Wallace Royal...This one is Bocate riser dark bamboo limbs with cocobolo overlays and bocate tips...it's going to be beautiful.. It is also a little lighter, this one is 35 @ 27 1/2 inches..much easier to pull than my current one which is 46 @ 28...I just need to build up my muscles a little bit more..

My wife is my best hunting parterner! I got her a longbow, and she's learning how to shoot it. For now she still shoots a wheelie. Hasn't killed anything with a bow, yet. She's already got a big fat doe and two pigs with her modern smokepole! At least we'll have meat!

You will love your new life as a trad shooter hunter going down in weight to start is a good move my girlfriend started with 30lbs @28 and moved up 35lb and now she is for heaver she has not shot her compound since she started shooting a recurve. Goodluck Widow
