Title: Question about Selway Quiver
Post by: jamesh76 on December 18, 2009, 10:39:00 PM
Does anoyone happen to know the difference in the width of the hole when comparing the Longbow quiver to the Recurve quiver.

Has anyone ever used the selway recurve quiver on a Longbow?  Any tips to get it to work/fit nicely.

Thank You,

James

I googled selway then went to the site. They give the different dementions of the slots for each.

God bless,Mudd

I've used a recurve model on a longbow before. It has wider limbs (Martin Savannah) and seemed to work well. What longbow are you thinking about putting it on?

Thanks,

I was referring to the slide on quiver.

It will be used on a Montana.

I have one on my Montana. I use the longbow version. The limbs and riser are narrow. I had to put some tape on the inside of the slide on part to keep it from sliding down too far on the riser. I wrapped electrical tape around the end and put a piece of sticky backed felt on the tape to get it to stay where I wanted it. I shoot full length arrows so I wanted it spread further apart on the shafts....Roy

Thanks Roy.

I got this one cheap. I figure if I cant get it to work I should be able to trade it for a longbow Quiver. Or ill jsut buy a recurve.
