How quiet? A lot more than wood?

My experience with carbon/foam is that it is noisier . That is why I am getting rid of the carbon/foam I have.  I think wood/foam would probably be good but I have no experience.  I have heard also that foam is very consistent, so the cores are more predictable.

My experience is, quieter than wood (when comparing exact same model). No worry about moisture problems. In heavy weight bows foam/carbon draws much smoother than wood.

Noise factor will have alot to do with bows design, riser material, weight of arrows, string material etc.

The type of carbon used plays a lot into the quiet factor also. Weaves tend to be quiet, unidirectional tends to have a higher ping sound.
