I have a Blue Ridge Archery Classic longbow I would like to give to someone in need. Do to braken my neck and having two plates and cable put in my neck I have to go way down in waight. The bow is in great shape. 64" 56#@27" cocobolo riser, osage limbs, clear glass, and snake skins. It also has elk horn tips. The bow looks like almost new. I took good care of it. I am also a disable vet and since I only get paid once a month I wont be able to ship it ontill the 31st. I will pull a name from a hat on this sunday. Merry christmass and god bless. John

Man, that's a heck of a Christmas gift particularly after having such a stroke of bad luck.

Hang in there. The Lord does things we can't understand and He works all things to the good. It's just a heck of a deal tryig to understand it all.

Please put me in the hat, not for myself, but for my son or grandson. They are both wanting a longbow and are at present shooting recurves. Would love to give them one of my longbows, but I don't have one light enough for them to draw.

Thank you for the most generous offer. My buddy that brought me hunting last month is also disabled. I just ordered a new longbow for his grandkids today. He was tickled. He has been able to pull my bow back and is gaining strength. It would be nice for it to go to another rehabilitating archer.

I am the idiot who hurt himself out hunting and in a panic left his brand new bow behind. I am not in the drawing for this bow. I see that you found a replacement, but you cannot ship until the end of the month. How are you set for arrows for the lighter bow?

Paven I am verry sorry you got hurt and left your bow behind. I hope you got it back. I am still using my old arrows. 60-65# spine. the new bow i got is 40# I know its a little to much in spine but there working. Thank you very much.John

As I stated in an earlier post, I'd love to be in this drawing but am just too new to trad. hunting. It is best served going to someone else.

What a nice offer! I don't wish to be included, although it sounds like a great bow, and money is tight, I wouldn't feel right about it, as I have a job and archery tackle to shoot. I hope that it goes to a good person who is unemployed and in TRUE need of a longbow. It is gestures like this that warm the heart and reassure me that this is the best Trad forum in the world. John, Thank you for your service to our Country and I pray that your neck will heal very quickly without anymore serious pain...I have a brother who flipped a truck about 8 years ago and broke his neck and had plates put in and he ripped his ear almost off and had it repaired..His head hit a guardrail on a small bridge...I can only imagine the pain you are in.Please include me for the drawing but I can't handle the weight but have someone in mind who can that would greaty appriciate the bow...Merry Christmas, Keefer's <")))><

i am new to the trad archery game and would love to have a long bow to start gotta start somewhere i'm trying to build my ownbut don't know how it will turn out add me to the hat please.
