I'm thinking of a short winter project and make/remake my quiver.
I sort of like my Hill style quiver. It's big enough that you can put a few essentials in it. I'm trying to come up with a way to carry a Gransfors Bruk mini hatchet on mine. While Im thinking I would like see some of your home spun quivers if you care share a picture of them.
Here's a few pictures of mine I made a couple of years ago. It measures 8 1/2" x 20". I dont know yet if I'll make a new one or just modify this one.

I would appreciate your comments/pics.
Loose
Very nice quiver Joe. Be careful of disrupting the balance of your BQ with excessive weight from a hatchet or otherwise. A suptle quiver needs to compress against your back & arrows. Weight may cause the balance to shift always at the wrong time.
A hatchet is most easily carried in the belt on on a belt with a sheath. Much more easily available and does't cause the balance on the quiver to be off.
very nice quiver. what material did you use?and how long did it take you to make it?just curious is all.
Broketooth I used medium weight latigo leather and 1/2" latigo straps I got from Tandy Leather warehouse. Its good stuff, not too heavy, keeps it form while still pliable and conforms to your body. I think it is about perfect as you can get. Once I got the pattern down and the punch for the slots it took a couple of hours to make. Fun snowy day project.
Fellas the Gransfors Bruk mini hatchet weighs 10 ounces. You think it would throw the quiver off that much?
