I'm looking to go Hog/Javi hunting this winter, any suggestions on where one can find an affordable fair-chase hunt?
Thanks,
bill

Touch base with Ray.
7th age bowhunting, he is a sponsor here. Hogs and havies in TX
Money spent with Curtis/7th age will be money well spent.
7th age bowhunting all the way
Curtis is a top notch all the way
Come join us at the Texas Sweat Feb 14 to 19. Do search here for Texas Sweat and see what it's all about or look under Cutis's web site 7th Age Bowhunts.
If you want to kill hogs/Javi's...get a hold of Curtis!
If I was you, I'd do as Dave suggests and get in on the Sweat hunt...lotsa killin'!
Thanks for the obvious choice, I have talked to Curtis but many of his hunts are booked. I'll ask about the "Texas Sweat" hunt and see if it's full or not. I'm also looking at Kent Ostrem from Mahaska Bows and his hunts in the El Paso area. I really appreciate all of your input, it reinforces the the reason I'm a member here.

Back in March, fellow TradGanger (Centaur) and I hunted javelina south of Ft. Stockton, TX with Ken Burton - owner of Burton Hunting Enterprises.
Curtis and Kent are both great choices for javelina too
Ray Hammond. Can't say enough good things about the man. No javies, but excellent hog hunting on underhunted property, good people, and good food. If you want javies, AND hogs, then get ahold of Gene and Barry. Can't go wrong there!
IDABOW, I hunted with a group of guys at Kent's place last year. I had a great time and killed a jave. That ranch has some truly unique terrain that you will enjoy. I would highly recommend this hunt and will hunt there again in the future.
Your welcome at our place anytime.
If your looking for just Javelina check out Kent Ostrem of Mahaska Hunts and Bows...I will be hunting there in February with a group of guys I know we have a few spots open on that hunt.
