Pros- can look really nice, warmer feel, non-slip grip

Cons- can look really bad, covers a beautiful riser

I'm sure the're more.

I love the feel and looks of a nice leather grip.Lately I have found that the rubber sure grip, even as ugly as it is really works better for me.Good feel, water proof, and can come off in a second.Really works well with gloves on also.

I like the look of the leather grip and the beaver taile grip but my favorite is the rubber sure grips. They may not look that cool on my bows but man i love the feel of them.

I've got the rubber shur-grip on my longbow. Good feel (as already mentioned), dampens bow vibrations, water proof... and the best thing may be that it will come off in a second, showing the riser.
