Great guy to work with. He helped me with a bow deal earlier this year!
ah thats a beauty!
THAT is the prettist bow I have ever seen !
Thanks Bob! :goldtooth:
There is something magical with the osage/cocobolo combo
I still can't believe he charges so little for that kind of bow!
F-Manny
WOW that is gorgeous!!
Cocobola / Osage is one of my favorites as well.
Great looking bow,and your right Big Jim is an excellent guy to deal with. Mine should be headed to Tenn. next week.
NICE!
Beautiful, that looks like a shooter for sure.
My dad is getting one made too, hopefully it will be in Fayette County before we get there the 18th so I can test it out.
Our family has a long history of the son taking the dad's best stuff when he leaves.
Why would his new bow be any different?
Beautiful bow!!! This is the second bow I've seen of Big Jims and I am very impressed!!! I'm gonna have to give that guy a call sometime!
Ken
Zbear- If it makes weight, your fathers bow should be ready next week.

Nice! I look forward to trying to sneak out of Georgia with his new bow!
Big Jim makes a beautiful bow and for what you get i dont think you can beat his prices anywhere. I have shot his longbow and a Widow longbow at the same shoot and i couldnt tell a bit of difference between the two.
His bows are solid as a rock and the finish he puts on them seem bomb proof. It would be hard to find anyone that has the kind of service Big Jim provides.
I have had 2 dealings with Jim and both times it was smooth as glass even when i screwed up one of my orderes.
That bow you are getting is one of the best looking bows i have ever seen. Jim will for sure build me a longbow someday when i get my funds in order.
Thanks all for the kind words!!!
I decided to go with BigJim's bows for their toughness and ability to perform in a harsh environment, but on top of that they are beautiful! All that with a very reasonable timeframe for delivery.
This week will be a long one waiting for the mailman! :)
F-Manny
Jim,
What woods did dad choose? He already forgot.
Lookin forward to seeing you work in person

I could not agree more, that IS stunning!!
I called Big Jim today and told him of a most beautiful Cocobola and Osage bow I saw, and he said "Yeah, that's Manny's bow it's going to Canada." Great guy to talk to and very informative on wood selection. Thanks Manny! My next bow will be a Buffalo Bow!
Ken

Superb cast, no handshock at all.
This bow shoots as good as it looks.
In fact, after half a dozen arras I was able to group better than with my actual bow!
So well that I sated to shoot 20, 25, 30, and some more yards...to the point I became over confident, shoot over the target and made a hole in the garage of my huting partner and best friend Serge :scared: :smileystooges:
Shooting this bow was like meeting with an old friend again: Easy, fun and deadly
F-Manny
Great Stuff Manny!!!! I'll be putting my order in with Jim on Monday!!
Ken

The grip:
