It's a 1967 Bear Grizzly, 58", 45#, Bubinga riser; the working mans recurve according to Papa Bear. I just acquired it via the magic of internet. I'll post more photos when it arrives next week.

Thats a sweet bow. I love the old school looking bows. Lemme know how it shoots once you take it for a spin.
Awsome Bow!! Congrats To You Both!! :archer:
Awesome George, always love a "new" bow!
Nice George. Those are good shooters.I recently got a "new" Grizzly also.I'll post picures in a few days.
George..congrats on the neat old Bear
I think they are bargain buys and worth more of what they cost, congrats
42 years young!! That is one of the very cool things about trad bows still flinging arrows after all these years. You kind of wonder about the stories a bow like that could tell or what it has seen. Joe
That looks like a nice one, I still have my uncles 72' grizz. I my hunt with the old girl next year.....
You'll like it, George, looks to be in great shape, too. I have a 67 Griz as well, 55 lb, and it is a great bow. One of my favorite recurves. Very nice grip, points great, very good performance. Much better bow than the 70's model Griz, IMO. Enjoy!
George, Nice bow i am looking at one now a tiny bit older.
It looks naked what kind of rest material are you going to use?
Sweet.
Grizzly's are a "bargin" in my opinion.
A bit of a different animal, but a 62" grizzly is on my next bow list.
Well done GD. Just in time for Christmas.
Merry Christmas George...very nice!
coaster, I will use it in the late season here to give it a good go.
NICE George!!!!!
I have a 47# 1967 Grizzly that I won at the JLMBH raffle a few years ago.
I used that bow to take a nice spikehorn in 2007 for the old Grizzly's 40th "birthday".
Good Luck with her George!!!!!
