I'm buying a Quinn Stallion and want to set it up right the first time,it comes with a "simple rest"?? is it good enough? I don't mind spending a little extra to get it right the first time.
What elevated rest? a simple bear type weather rest,Saunders, or a rest/plunger? if so which one is the best? thx
PS: I want some adjustibility..
Look up Koger in the directory and PM him. He is a Quinn guru.
Centerest by New Archery Products(NAP). Should give you the adjustability you're looking for.
The rest you will get is sufficient. It is similar to the Bear Weatherest. I have a similar rest on mine that I trimmed down a bit. If it has a "plunger arm" on it(ie. a plastic arm that can be trimmed to adjust center shot) make sure you don't cut that off. The Stallion is cut well past center and needs a good bit of adjustment out from the riser. You can also get many flipper type rests(Weatherest, T-300, NAP centerest, etc) and use a plunger along with it. Mine shoots great with the simple plastic stick on type that you will get with the bow.
