Title: Case ,Sleeve, Blanket??
Post by: Throop on December 06, 2009, 10:05:00 PM
Hey just wondering what everybody uses when they take there bow places. Hunting, in the truck ect.  I have been laying mine in the back seat and covering it with a car hart coat and sticking leather gloves on the limb tips. I cant find any sleeves for my bow.  I have a quiver attached with limb bolts.   Any tips?  Thanks!

I use something like these. I have made quite a few and the work well. You may want to consider something like this.

I use a Kathy Kelley case. Like it better than the wool sleeve I used before it.

I use a soft case that the bow slide into and you tie the end...kinda like the one above.

I put it on the front passenger seat (I have an extended cab truck so it sticks into the back seat) rather than in the bed of the truck to bounce around.

I use a strung longbow case I picked up from 3Rivers, a great case!
