I have two Ropers Indian Broadheads I think there around 1954 can anyone tell me anything about them.Blake
Those heads are described in
'Broadheads 1871-`1971'. I can fax that page to you if you want.
Bjorn
are they hard to fined?
There is one head that is under 2 1/2 inches long-it is very rare. The bigger heads were more widely used but still fairly rare today.
I saw one of the bigger versions listed on the unmentionable auction board recently-don't know what it went for.
The two I have are 2 1/2 inches
2.37 in. is the length of the one that is really quite rare. The ones that are about 2.75" are a little more common but still not something you run across regularly.
Those are a very good find in either length.
Bjorn are you a broadhead collector? if you want one PM me your Adderss and I will send you one.
Blake..PM sent with a pic of the more common Roper's Indian.
Wow!I sent you a PM to the Frontiernet address-correct?
Bjorn...email sent.
