Well,I did it. :) After years of shooting a recurve with decent success I developed a terrible case of target panic. To the point where I had all but given up. But thanks to the encouragement of friends, the advice read here, and six monthes of dilligent practice it all came together and I was able to accomplish my ultimate goal. To harvest a deer with my fox longbow.
This oregon blacktail was chasing a doe and gave me a perfect 12 yd. quartering away shot.
Thanks again all. Jim

good one ! No err - really big one !!! Dealing with target panic is terrible; making a good shot is really an accomplishment. The deer couldn't have died a better death.

Thank you all for the kind words. After looking through the thread with all the old pictures it is very humbling, yet gratifying to be able to hunt with traditional equipment like Ron leclair, charlie lamb, etc. Thank you also to Mike Rash (legends1) for His encouragement To get back into Trad archery :)
