Unless you're talking about fit, the best way is just to shoot and shoot and shoot.
But if it just needs to get seated in your hand and fingers a little better, I usually put the glove on, then put my hand in warm water for a bit then open and close my fist a few times. Then wear the glove for a while. It'll conform to your hand in a day or two.
I bought an elk hide big shot glove this fall. AT first, I was really disappointed in the glove, although it seemed well built. The leather was very dry and stiff and very hard to get on and off. I was ready to sell it to get rid of it. One night I got it on my hand and said "make a decision". Well it hit me. Put some oil on it and see. I used a brush and coated it with silicone based leather treatment oil. I could feel the glove relax and soften on my hand. I could actually "stretch it out and it fit my fingers better. You dont want to stretch the finger stalls though. let them conform to your fingers on their own. Dont use too much oil or you will keep getting a wet hand every time you use it. just enough to soak in to the leather. I'm happy wiyh my glove now.
Neets foot oil or the oven glove stuff you use on baseball gloves.
