well..I took the plunge and got on the waiting list for a Shrew CH. PLENTY (14 mos) of time before I get the bow but now my mind is racing with anticipation!! I have never shot a longbow before (only recurves) so i am curious on how I will need to modify my shooting...if at all. Since it will be a while before I get it, I figured I can at least talk about it.
:banghead:
Any feedback?
Happy Thanksgiving all!!
You are gonna be just fine! I think the Shrew grip design is one of the best out there. Gotta tell me... How are ya going to get any sleep the next 14 months? :D

You guys are crazy waiting 14 months for a bow! I just couldn't do it so got on the 12 month waiting list for a new 54" Centaur longbow instead! :D I already have a few Shrew bows myself fine shooting and worth the wait.
Ive been waiting 13 months as of this wk. Waiting on a 56" CH, carbon/foam, bow-bolt, 67@29 1/2". I can tell u, from the Shrews Ive owned, its worth the wait....now, to get on that Centaur list..
Hey Greg,
I'm on the shrew waiting list also, just last week. I picked up a Samuria off of the classifieds from a member here and loved it. I didn't have to modify anything, that grip just fit my hand and I went to work. Man, I love this bow!
We may have to find a Shrew waiting list support group. It's gonna be a long 14 months.
Brad
I love my Shrews. They are worth the wait.
yip iv been on there a while too
cant wait to get mine!
Well worth he wait. The foam, carbom combo makes a big diffrence.
I shoot my 56" Classic Hunter as good or
better than any of my old recurves. You
will not have any trouble switching over
to a Shrew Longbow.
I'm currently waiting on my second Classic
Hunter.
All the good things said about the Classic Hunter are true. Don't worry about changing your shooting style. I just let a couple of friends shoot my CH in hunting camp a few days ago and they were shooting well after just a few minutes. They have not shot trad bows in quite awhile and then shot only recurves.

I just got a call from ron this week to confirm the build of my CH. Thats all I can think about now.The next few weeks wil seem as long as the last year I bet
