What shaft would you guys recommend for my 50@28 ACS-CX. My draw length is 28", and I really would like to keep my arrow no longer than 29". Oh, I also use 100 grain brass insert and 125 grain head.
I'm shooting a heritage 90's out of my Schafers 50# @ 27" and 53# @ 27" which I pull to 27.750" .
I shoot 175 grain tips out of them to get them to shoot. I shoot through everything I have shot with both of these rigs . A 200 grain point even shoots better , but weighs more than I want an arrow to weigh.
I have experimented with a Easton Epic 500 with a 225 grain tip on it and it weighs within 5 grains of what the heritage weighs , has a smaller diameter, plus shoots better . That will be my next arrow . It takes a while to figure this carbon arrows stuff out but I'm doing it finally.

You might try a CE Heritage 150 with that front end weight.But with carbons I let my tuning dictate the final length of them.They don't come in as many different spines as other types of arrows.
Brian , I would go with the 250's. I have found that the A &H bows tend to like a stiff arrow. I have 47# @ 28 in . limbs ( I draw 29 in, = 50 lbs. ) and shoot 250's cut 29 1/4 with 200 gr. up front.

Ive had two ACS's. Currently only have one operable cause Im waiting on limbs for the other riser. Ive had 57#, 47# and now 50# with 40# on the way. I draw to 28" and like you only like a 29" arrow. Im using CX Heritage 150's with a 50 grain brass insert, and 200 grain field tips. Ive been very lucky with this set up on all of the ACS's Ive owned. Bare shafting was a cinch, and they fly like darts. I had to drop the tip weight a bit for the 57# to stiffen it up, but nothing major. I think you'll be happy with the 150, cause they spine out pretty wide. They are also EXTREMELY durable when footed with aluminum. I sold the 57# limbs and Im awaiting the 40's. I'm tinkering with Arrow Dynamic Hammerheads lites, and liking them very much. Only issue is the price. The CX's can be found very reasonable.

Thanks guys for the responses. I have only had the bow about a month and have been shooting 70-75lb cedars out of it and they fly nice. Have tried a few of my Carbonwoods but they all seem to have a little wiggle to them, but I haven't put in a whole lot of time on them yet. I have been wanting to try the CX Heritage shafts, and this new ACS gives me the excuse to buy some new shafts.
