I haven't been on here in a while, but thought I'd post today. Two summers ago I made my first selfbow. I posted a few questions on here, and received a lot of help. Last year I wasn't able to hunt much, but I managed to get out a few times this year, and I am very proud of my deer. The bow is osage, kind of short and wide. Pulls about 50 lbs at my drawlength, and shoots nice. The string I made from artificial sinew, and the arrows are store bought shafts with magnus broadheads. The feathers are turkey feathers with sinew wrapping. The nocks are selfnocks. I've shot bigger deer, but never a more satisfying deer.
