Well I was in a discussion about the Dalaa here on Trad Gang a while back and of course the DAS subject came up and suddenly I was kindly offered the chance of buying a DAS master riser from Jason R. Wesbrock...
We agreed on a price and soon the riser was on its way :)
Mr Wesbrock is a good man to do business with too, he kept me informed of the process and when due to illness couldnt make it to the post office untill a day after he said he could, he threw in an extra grip at no cost! :bigsmyl:
now all I have to do is break it gently to the wife.... :help:

Better to ask for forgiveness then permission. :D :biglaugh:
Here are some more pics (that little strane stab is a smooth stabilty stab designed for wheelie bows, but boy does it work well on the DAS!)

Sweet!
Good for you, stabilizer looks strange but if it works for you great-
I think the best way to avoid that kind of problem is the way I did with my fly fishing equipment. You need to have such a large pile of gear that your wife won't notice any additions or subtractions, the latter of which is unlikely. :biglaugh:
Yeppers, I agree with BD, just hang it in the garage with all your other stuff, If she happens to see it, just tell her its been there for at least a couple of years.
It works for me........
Nice Bow
Mike
Awesome bow! Those limbs look absolutely wicked. The Hex4s I had were absolute buggers to string, and those look even wilder. The Master I had (which is now maxwell's ;) ) was technically the best bow I've ever laid my hands on...but I don't mind the little extra length of my longer DAS, so that's what I kept.
Congrats once again! Discovering and messing with DAS bows is quite a lot of fun :)

thanks :)
Stringing can be tricky yes, Sid at border recommends the "loop sliding along the limb" type of stringer and not the "both tips" type of stringer. I used one today and it worked a treat. :)
There is something special about this bow... its gonna be a keeper thats for sure!
That never works on my wife, she always figures out when I buy something new. Luckily she understands my hunting obsession. She says shed rather have me do that than go out drinking.
Well timing is everything they say :)
So my lovely wife is off for a weekend with the girls.. on her way out I popped a little cash in her hands and said have a great trip.. as she smiled I said oh, and I have bought a new bow! hehe... it went as smooth as those hex5s draw up :goldtooth:
Congrats Nathan :)
Your DAS is a fast, smooth kind of bow...
When Nathan called me and told me that the limbs was arrived, the lunch place for the day was planned quickly :D
I have to say that I never been interested in these metal risers, but after testing Nathan`s DAS....I have to admit that there is an ad from me on the classifieds asking if somebody have a DAS riser or bow for sale :goldtooth:
I`m really impressed with the comfortable feel I did get shooting this one.
And Nathan... of course it was the bow that made the killshots from 30 and 40 yards :D nothing to do with that, you are the gold medalist from the Norwegian championship 2009 in field archery.. :biglaugh:
Margly
Haha! Thanks Ronny!
Well after "outing" me like that publicly I had better mention that Ronny aka Margly is aslo not a bad shot himself... winning Gold in this years Norwegian Bowhunter championships! :goldtooth:
Ronny turned up within 5 minutes of me getting the bow haha, and the next day he was back with some of his latest purchases from Trad Gang members... Ronny is suffering from a real bad bow buying compulsion :biglaugh: I think in the last week alone he has added 3 bows to his ever growing stable....
So do the man a favour.. i you have got a DAS... DONT sell it to him :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
The more bows you have out the harder it is to spot a new one, safety in numbers.
i got over $40 for my wife all shoes and stuff included / bought a nice arm guard!
