**EDIT** after posting and rereading the post - Wingnut - i guess these would be your design :) had read about them in the bowyers bible and built them. Great instruction - but the bamboo part is a tad hard to understand, not sure if i did it right - but both the bows came out - one at 40# and the other at about 47#.
Definately a good bow and not a hard build overall at all.... :)
------------
These bows were built by me, the idea from bowyers Bible Vol 4: the "hunter" sold by a company out of texas. Osage/chery and Walnut/Cherry - both bamboo backed. Smooth shooters. Both sold pretty fast.

Hi David, I build that bow myself, the "Bear" recurves from the 50's inspired me.

Dang Brian that is sweet
Here is one that Eric Krewson made for me a while back.

Beautiful bow, 64", 70# @ 29", but developed a crack in the lower limb back at about 50 shots. Eric put a new bamboo back on it and it developed it again in the same exact spot at about the same time in the break in. Don't think they are meant for longer/heavier draws...
sweet looking bows guys
