In memory of my Dad and an anniversary to the bow, I shot this doe last night with my Dads 1959 Kodiak.Double lung complete pass through and watched her go down in 40 yds. 1959 Bear Kodiak,64", 50# @ 30", Bear broadhead on homemade cedar arrows, Bear quiver, and almost forgot to add, Fred Bear hat for good luck.
What a wonderful tribute. Congratulations.
Great deer and pics.! I can't think of a better way to honor your father than to continue to hunt with his bows. I hope my son will continue to hunt with mine when I'm gone some day.
My dad passed away and I found in the closet the Bear kodiak magnum and a box of bear arrows that he had. I shot the bow a lot when I has young and plan on taking it to the woods next year after I find a string for it.
I hope I can do my Dad proud as you have.
congratulations,
Tim
