I've seen some pics of these takedown recurves with the limbs behind the riser. What's the advantage? It seems to me it would in effect shorten your draw length or at least the amount of time the string is in contact with the arrow upon release. Since the limbs are back an inch or two already. Anyway, just wonderin what the idea is. Thank everyone
Makes them a little more stable and forgiving in some opinions. Moves the pivot point forward and less time for shooter error on release. Any well designed bow will shoot well though.
