Welcome!!!
Welcome....the crowd here will be more than happy to support you.
I look forward to the site getting up and running.
Thanks to all! We will be setting up a website very soon. We are initially offering a small game broadhead that I believe is the best out there. I have been shooting smaller game for nearly 20 years and haven't found a head that I'm completely satisfied with until now. I will post some pics this evening of what I've come up with and we'll have some better pics from a real photographer on the website. Thanks again,
Stan
Here is a pic of the prototype. The head will be heat treated and the tip just a bit beefier than what I had on hand to photograph. Will be available very soon. Our raccoon season in Oregon opens up on the 15th and I will be out that evening seeing if I can put one through a coon. So far they have proven to be very effective on nutria, oppossum, squirrels, geese and rabbits. Great combination of blunt trauma and cutting blades.

Sorry for the poor quality of the picture. When the website is up and running we will have a number of photographs that show the head from all angles.
I'll post a thread when I have the website up.
Stan
Is that a hollow point three blade?
Looks well nasty! :D
Will they be in glue on?
Welcome
That is a great looking head
Are you the same Red Feather Archery company that is in Cibilo, Texas that sells cedar shafts? I stopped by there and bought shafts from you a couple of years ago.
Freefeet,
Right now they are just a screw in point. We are working on a glue on head as well. Jon, we are a different outfit than the one in Texas. Thanks,
Stan
Hi Stan!
I'm up here in Eugene. We have a traditional archery club up here called TAB...The Adventurous Bowmen. We meet every 2nd Thurs. night in town.
I look forward to trying some of these out when they are available.
David
Pretty mean looking heads, I'll be giving them a go when available! What weights will be available??
welcome sir
Looking forward to the website and trying out some of those heads myself!
Welcome
looks like a very rugged design. Good to have you on Tradgang!
Nice looking heads!
Thanks again for the welcome, this is truly a great place to be.
BowHuntingFool, initially the heads will be 125 grains but I'm hoping to add other weights soon. To be honest I'm trying to make this happen by paying as I go. I'm going to need to sell some of the first run before I can pay a machinist to tinker with the design to get it just right in other weights and in a glue on model, then make another production run.
I know that for myself I'm shooting them with brass inserts to get my weights up to where my broadheads are.
Thanks again for the kind words. I'll run a post with a link to the website as soon as I get that done. Can't wait.
Stan
I got to meet Stan last night at our trad archery meeting. I enjoyed talking with you Stan. These heads are the real deal! They are a great design meant to cut a little and punch. Best design I've seen. Put me down for some when they are available!
Stan,
Can you provide us an update on the progress of these small game heads? I am ready to put some to work on the cottontail and jackrabbits running around my yard! :archer:
Thanks,
Josh
Welcome from Colorado!!!
Welcome to the site, looking forward to your website.
welcome
Welcome,do we all get a head for free...LOL
Good luck Stan...looks like a winner!
Quick update, had an issue with the first full run with the collet used to hold the head while turning to cut the thread. Remember I'm neither a machinist or business man, just a bowhunter. Think that issue is resolved now. Should be cutting a full run next week that will be uniform and seat properly when threaded into a shaft. Head is a little beefier on the tip now, I'll try to get a pic up of the head without the threading later tonight. Should have everything done by the 21st, ready to ship.
Address for the website is www.redfeatherarcheryonline.com (http://www.redfeatherarcheryonline.com)
Not much on there yet, but that should be running by the 21st as well.
Thanks all for your patience.
Stan
BTW, when I get them, somebody is getting some for free. Will have a drawing :)
