Title: I have a question about ground blinds
Post by: osage1 on November 09, 2009, 06:18:00 AM
What type of blinds work with a 62" longbow, beside a Double Bull? I have never used one, but have a need for one now. I like the Double Bull, but it is to expensive for me now

What would the size need to be in hight & width, and what about the windows?

I would appreacte any information from people who have used blinds before.

Thanks

Check out the Hidden Hunter blinds on Ron Laclair's web site. Most of my bows are 62", and Im considering this one for myself. However I have no experience with blinds, so Ill be watching this thread.

The Hidden Hunter works good with a 62" longbow.  I have shot 2 whitetails out of it this year.

We use the Escape Deluxe with 62" bows. We shoot from a seated position in the middle of the blind using a 19-20" stool. I believe the blind is 75"s high.

I just got back from deer camp where I hunted with my 64" Shrew Model-T out of my Hidden Hunter blind and I had plenty of room.
