Title: Anyone from Alabama on here?

Hey guys, I am new to the traditional game having shot compounds for the last 16 years. I have to say that I am quickly becoming addicted. My problem is that I don't know anyone in my neck of the woods(central Alabama) who shoots traditional gear. Also, are there any proshops that stock trad gear? I am located just north of Montgomery and would like to try some traditional shoots and get to know some other guys who hunt with LB's and recurves in Alabama.

I'm from North Shelby county just south of Birmingham. Go to  www.astb.net/ (http://www.astb.net/)  They have a shoot at the end of April a tannyhill state park.

Also ckeck out  www.alabamabowhunter.com (http://www.alabamabowhunter.com)  and go to there message board. They have a shoot every weekend.They also shoot wheel bow here. Also take a good look at joining these groups.

yeah, well, theres not too much here in AL that has trad gear, the only person that i know of is Herrelson Traditional Archery. i think thats right, he comes to the shoots at Tennehill and ive done buisness with him, does a good job...

Several of us here in Alabama.  I'm from up near Huntsville.  Not too many Trad carrying shops around here.  Got a few that can get trad equipment.  ASTB is a great group of folks, I try to get to their Childrens Hospital shoot when I can.  Welcome aboard
