I had been looking for a new longbow(hybrid) for a while, and about 3 weeks ago I recieved a bow built for me by Jim Gainey of Black Creek Bows and WOW was all I could think of after putting it together and shooting it. I had been wanting a bow that was short enough to shoot sitting on the ground, and of course smooth, quiet and would hopefully shoot with my recurves( yes I like fast). Well I think I found what I was looking for, this bow is a variation of Jim's takedown banshee, it has a different riser, is 58" long, pulls 59# at 28" is smooth to my nearly 29" draw, and I think I smell feathers burning sometimes when I am shooting her. (http://s843.photobucket.com/albums/zz352/scram_photos/colorado09053.jpg) She has bamboo and glass limbs and was camo-dipped by Lonnie, oh yea she is also a killer. (http://i843.photobucket.com/albums/zz352/scram_photos/Scramsdoe10-28-09002.jpg) I have got to say a big thank you to Jim and Lonnie for doing such an excellent and timely job on her and also to the folks at Eagle Flight Archery for getting me the parts I wanted to modify my quiver with, they were just what I wanted, also thanks to you all for letting me show her off a little.
Congratulations!
Very nice! I like your bow, your deer and your dog.

Thanks guys, I am really pleased with the way the bow turned out, Jim did an excellent job with it. The dog is full grown mix off a friend of mines track dog, I hope she turns out half as good as her daddy.Took me a while to get this out, busy hunting, now she has drawn blood 3 times so I am really pleased.
