How does the 56" CH compare to the 58" Super Shrew in terms of stability, smoothness and performance. I draw 29 1/2 " and was wondering, after reading a few post, if the shorter CH would be smoother at my DL. just hoping for a little insight from those that have shot or owned both. Thanks, Shane
Shrew is great out to 30 ...you'd Love it!!
Get in touch with JavaMan. He was the best resource (along with Ron) for what these bows can do. They won't steer you wrong.
For me it is a 56" Classic Hunter ("the first"), but my draw is 32"+.
Shane,
If you go with a Super Shrew, you'll need the 60" version for your 29 1/2" draw. Then either SS or CH would be plenty smooth.

Shrew classic hunter. Smooth as butter. My favorite.
I have 3 Super shrews, I draw 28 I have a hard time with my 58" I really like the LONGER bow, the shorter ones are just a bit erratic for some reason. NOW if you get a LIGHT weight bow @58" it might work better
Great, thanks for all the info guys. I think Ill change my order from the 58" SS to the 56" CH. Over a year ago, when placing the order, my draw length was about 28", but since, Ive gotten a little stonger ,and change my anchor for better alighnment, this has lead to 1 1/2" increase in draw length. I really dont want to go with a 60" bow, Ive got plenty of those... Im wanting a "shorty" this time. So it looks like the 56" CH fits the bill.
you won't be disappointed..
Champ, You'll like the 56"CH. Its short but dont feel like it!
