Post by: pj starrett on October 30, 2009, 12:48:00 PM
I have the martin rebel and its a small bow.  I really like it because i like to hunt small confined places.  Im shooting 53@29.  IS this bow good enough to take a deer or hog?  I really like the bow

Your Rebel is absolutely up to the task of deer and hogs.  It's not really MEANT for bowfishing, it's just a good bow for it.

It's a nice bow. If you shoot it well use it with confidence!!

The hog won't know it was shot by a Rebel.  It only knows the impact of the arrow and the Rebel will do just fine.
