I'm shooting a recurve with a large sight window.
If I switch to a recurve with a smaller window, do I need to shoot a heavier arrow to maintain accuracy?
no
??? what do you mean by smaller. if the smaller one is cut less past center you my have to retune, heaver point weight or longer arrow to make the arrow weaker. If the smaller is cut the same to center and with all else equeal, then no
What I'm talking about is the vertical aspect of the sight window. I've got two bows. Both are cut past center. But one has a longer riser than the other. When I shoot the longer riser bow, I have nothing blocking my vision. When I shoot the shorter bow, I often feel as if I am having to adjust my vision so the riser is not obstructing my view. So my shooting reference is different.
